The Holiday House
The new, beautiful and fully equipped cottage, renovated 2007, a view towards Southwest, lies with its garden almost on the outskirts of Candelária. Sea View, Mountain View including the famous viewpoint Vista do Rei (lakes of Sete Cidades). The house belongs to a kind azorean family, which lives 50 m further. To a Mini Market 500 m, the bus 1 km (several times a day), according to Ponta Delgada 19 km. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 showers with toilet. Maximum occupancy of 6 persons.

The house is located in this beautiful area on the outskirts of the idyllic still very unspoilt azorean village Candelária. From the house can be hiked up on field and forest to the famous viewpoint Vista do Rei (King's view).

by Marion & Martin Tschamler from Craislheim, DeutschlandAls wir ankamen, wurden wir von der Mutter der Besitzerin ganz herzlich empfangen. Auch ein Korb voller Nahrungsmittel für den Start stand bereit. Außerdem ein kleiner Weihnachtsbaum und viele, viele andere Dinge, die zeigen, wie aufmerksam hier für den Besucher eingerichtet wurde. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, alle Zimmer und die zwei Bäder sind modern und hell. Zudem gibt es einen sehr gepflegten kleinen Garten mit Grillstelle, Sitzgelegenheiten und Schaukel. Was für uns mit am Wichtigsten war: Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, von einer Hauptstraße ist absolut nichts zu hören, und man kann von hier aus hervorragend den westlichen Teil der Insel erkunden. Wir haben die Woche hier in vollen Zügen genossen und wollen Susete und ihrer Mama nochmals von hier aus danken. Fazit: Jederzeit wieder!!!
Das Haus ist für bis zu 6 Personen ausgeschrieben, hier möchten wir jedoch anmerken, dass es für 6 Erwachsene doch etwas eng werden könnte, da die Zimmer doch alle ziemlich klein sind. Für bis zu 4 Erwachsene unserer Meinung nach ein Top-Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
