the guesthouse	The vacation rental The guesthouse has two floors and is suited for 2-3 persons. The frontdoor leads to a small hall with bathroom (bath/shower, toilet, wasbasin), stairs to the first floor and passage to the livingroom/kitchen. the livingroom has a fireplace and televisione, the kitchen is well-equiped. On the first floor a big bedroom with double bed. Outside there is a smalle terrace, barbecueplace, big meadow on the Elz, parkingplace and a small chapel. In case it's already occupied, look at our Wohnhaus, interesting prices for 2-5 persons. Inquire!
guesthouse by night	The surrounding area The watermill, and the guesthouse as well, are situated in the middle of the forest in the beautiful, wild valley of the Elz. Several walking tours, suited for mountianbikers as well, pass the mill, among them the famous Jacobswalking tour, part of the route to Santiago de Compostela. Castles are in the neighbourhood, among them Burg Eltz. Towns like Mayen, Cochem, Koblenz and Trier with their ancient history and buildings. Moselle and Rhine with their wine and the Redwhine walking road in the Ahrvalley. Nature- and wolfsparks, zoo, recreationparks and of course the Nurburgring, everything not far away. The (volcano) Eifel with its lakes (f.i. Maria Laach and Daun) is beautiful, but also the Westerwald, Hunsruck and Taunus are nearby.

Travel information

Direction Koblenz.
On motorway 48 Trier-Koblenz take exit Mayen (6). Then follow the signs Münstermaifeld and Burg Eltz. Directly after the namesign Kollig turn sharp right and drive straight on down in the valley. There, follow the sign Kolliger Mühle down the forest road.
