The Holiday Apartment

The millhouse has 4 floors and room for up to 14 persons. The entrance door is in the livingroom. From there, small stairs lead to the 'Stube', diningroom with fireplace and door to the terrace, and to a well-equiped kitchen. On the next floor there are a separate toilet, 4 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. The topfloor contains a huge bedroom and adjacent bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.
In the cellar a washingmachine. Outside you find an inner courtyard with fountain, terraces, barbecueplaces, big fenced meadow bordering the Elz, parkingspace and a small chapel. Interesting price for up to 5 persons. Contact us.

Location and surroundings

The mill is situated in the middle of the forest in the beautiful, wild valley of the Elz. Several Walking tours pass the mill, among them the famous Jacobswanderweg, part of the route to Santiago de Compostela.
Castles are near, for instance the Burg Eltz, towns like Mayen, Koblenz and Trier with their ancient history and buildings. The Moselle and Rhine with their wines, as well as the red wine area in the Ahr valley.
Nature- and wolfparks, the zoo, recreationareas and of course the Nürburgring, everything is nearby. The Eifel, and volcano Eifel with her lakes (f.i. Maria Laach and Daun) is a beautiful area, but also the Westerwald, Hunsrück and Taunus are not far. And a lot more, something to do and experience for everybody.

On motorway 48 Trier-Koblenz take exit Mayen (6). Then follow the signs Münstermaifeld and Burg Eltz. Directly after the namesign Kollig turn sharp right and drive straight on down in the valley. Follow the nameplate Kolliger Mühle down the forest road.

   Herzlicher Empfang, traumhaftes Drumherum und erholsame Ruhe - wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, ist hier genau richtig!
   
   Küche ist hervorragend eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer mit dem offenen Kamin und dem Blick in's Grüne und somit auch auf zahlreiche tierische Waldbewohner schöner als jedes Kinoprogramm.
   
   Offensichtlich legen die Vermieter viel Wert auf wichtige Details - die Matratze im geräumigen Bett war ein Labsal für Rückengeschädigte - und für die kalte Winterzeit waren die dicken Bettdecken genau richtig.

   Hallo!
   Wir möchten hiermit nochmals Danke sagen, für die freundliche Begrüßung. Das Ferienhaus ist super gemütlich und liegt wirklich sehr ruhig und geheimnisvoll im Tal.
   Wir hatten zwar zweistellige Minustemperaturen, aber wir haben es uns jeden Abend am Kamin gemütlich gemacht.
   Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen.

   Unsere Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen, wir konnten hier einmal richtig abschalten und die Seele baumeln lassen. Ideal, weil viele Ausflugsziele schnell erreichbar sind und somit alle zufrieden waren. Kind, Hunde und Erwachsene haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt, auch Dank der netten Inhaber.
