The Villa
The house is situated in Clapiers, a typical Southern French village with everything you would expect from it, and located directly next to Montpellier - a unique university city with an extraordinary spirit - and the clean beaches of the Mediterranean Sea.
The house is available all year around. Please note, however, that the pool is open only between approx. mid May through mid October (depending on the weather).
The "Residences du Pigeonnier" is a newly developed regular residential area - not a vacation resort - on the edge of the picturesque little village of Clapiers with approx. 4,800 inhabitants. The house has approx 128 m2 (1400 sqft) of living space for up to 6 people, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pool of 8 by 4 meters in size.

Location and surroundings
Clapiers and Montpellier are both situated in the Department Herault (34) on the edge of the Provence. This history-loaded area has to offer numerous attractions for the vacationer: Gorgeous landscapes, loaded with traces of the Romans, impressive cities, clean beaches and Southern France's sunny climate.
General information about Montpellier
Only a few kilometers from the Mediterranean lies Montpellier, the secret capital of the Languedoc. The city has hardly any industry, but instead it boosts an incredible, huge and progressive university, a variety of cultural offerings and its intellectual and warm-hearted people.
Montpellier has one of the largest universities in France. Its medical faculty is one of the oldest in Europe.

Arrival
Approaching from Germany, take the A9 motorway (Autoroute du Soleil) via Lyon towards the South and then take the exit # 28 to Vendargues or Castelnau le Lez.
Go on RN 113 to Castelnau le Lez and from there to Clapiers. The development is situated at the South edge of the village.

Wunderbare Entspannung

Eigentlich schon von dem Tag der Buchung, denn die Vorfreude war groß und die Abwicklung mit Schlüsselübergabe und allem was sonst dazu gehört, hat sehr gut geklappt und der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter des Hauses und dem Verwalter vor Ort war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus und vor allem der Pool sind so herrlich, dass wir (vor allem unsere 2 kleinen Kinder 4 und 8 Jahre) uns nicht wirklich gedrängt fühlten viel zu unternehmen. Es kam nie Langeweile auf, das Wetter war wunderschön, die Aussenterrasse haben wir bis in die Nacht hinein genießen können. In den 2 Wochen haben wir entspannt, gegessen, gefaulenzt, geschwommen, gelesen und konnten auch durch den Internetzugang im Haus alles bis zum Urlaub Unerledigte noch regeln..ein Traum!

Leben wie Gott in Frankreich

by Familie Wolfhard from EssenWenn Sie dem geflügelten Wort "Leben wie Gott in Frankreich" nachahmen wollen, dann buchen Sie diese Villa! Unser Lebensmittelpunkt war die überdachte Sitzgruppe auf der Terrasse. Absolutes Highlight ist der gepflegte Pool. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden. Der persönliche Kontakt zum Vermieter und die freundliche und kompetente Betreuung durch den Verwalter Vorort zeichnen die Villa ebenso aus wie die absolut ruhige Lage und das (fast) uneinsehbare Grundstück. Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region Languedoc-Roussillon.

by Familie Hild from TabarzIm Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden um einen angenehmen Urlaub zu gewährleisten. Ausgezeichnet ist auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter. Insgesamt ist dies ein empfehlenswertes Haus.

Wer einmal in diesem tollen Haus gewohnt hat,wird uns sicher zustimmen. Obwohl unsere Kinder Teenager sind war die Antwort unisono " na Klar: Clapier ". Alles Super und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.Habe es schon mehrfach weiterempfohlen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Echt ein Traumhaus

Alles was man für einen gemütlichen Urlaub braucht ist vorhanden. Alles neu und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Sehr gute Betreuung durch den Vermieter und seinen Verwalter vor Ort.
