The vacation rental
An original, free-standing farmhouse was converted into a gite [French-style holiday home] with individual Latin American furnishings, located in a 14 hectare park with a castle in the Domaine d'Embourg. Each of the 7 rooms (all with their own bathroom) is different. In the well-equipped kitchen, with an oven and dishwasher, you have enough room to cook for 14-16 people; they can also be accommodated in the gite. You also have 2 terraces and a fireside at your disposal. You sleep in comfortable beds and bed linen is provided. |

Bleak mountains and broad valleys, from the forests surrounding Bourbon to the volcanic massifs. The Auvergne is a varied hiking region. From the beginner to the professional mountain climber, there is something here for everyone.
Away from the streets and cities you will find countless hiking paths and routes.
However, the classic is still one of the trips to the volcano. The views of the mountain chains in Puys, the mountains in Cantal or the massif in Sancy are simply breathtaking.
Anyone who enjoys scenery and forests will discover a love for the hilly regions around Bourbon or the forests of Tronçais. Here you can experience relaxed day trips in almost untouched natural scenery.
