From Fontechiara you can reach Treia, amedieval little town,350 m over the sealevel.At 19 km there is Macerata and the famous arena "sferisterio" where you can enjoy the season of opera.There is also the opportunity to visit the famous caves of Frasassi, one of the largest and most fascinating subterranean routes of the world. You can visit the sanctuary of Loreto and the birthtown of the poet Giacomo Leopardi, Recanati.Who loves the seaside, may enjoy Sirolo, a small town neareby the Monte Conero, which is a protected natural area whith small hidden beaches and cristal water.The sibyllinian mountains can be explored during trekking tours for each level.
