Our motto is: our home is your home, so we try hard to create a comfortable atmosphere.
Why don't you relax in our garden and refresh in our roofed and solar-heated swimming pool. We also have a solarium with 2 turbo power cabins and a cafe with confectioner's in the centre of the village.

You can enjoy a glass of wine in our Buffetstüberl and the conservatory with a panoramic view to the castle and the mountain range.

Location and surroundings

Our house is set in a wonderful hillside location close to the village centre and the cycling trail Tauernradweg.
You can enjoy a perfect view to the Tennengebirge and the castle Hohenwerfen.
On request, we can pick you up at the railway station in Werfen or Bischofshofen or at the airport in Salzburg.

You will spend a great winter holiday with much snow. You can do everything which is fun in winter in and around Werfen.
The ski bus takes skiers to the skiing area Werfenweng in 8 km distance.
18 km away, you will find the skiing area Skiwelt Amade with more than 100 lifts and 350 km slopes. You can choose between alpine or cross-country skiing.

   Liebe Familie Groiss,
   
   wer in Werfen Station machen möchte, sollte unbedingt den Weg zu Ihnen finden.
   
   Zwei Tage durften wir Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Ihre grüne Oase mit grandiosem Blick auf die Burg Hohenwerfen geniessen. Ihre netten Tipps waren immer hilfreich, um noch etwas mehr zu entdecken. Und mit der Unterkunft - vom morgendlichen Frühstück bis zum nächtlichen Ruhebett - waren wir sehr zufrieden. Nicht zu vergessen das Cafe Groiss, das die Süßschnäbel unter uns gar vorzüglich bediente.
   
   Für den rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt bei Ihnen bedanken wir uns herzlich und wünschen Ihnen weiterhin alles Gute, Freude an Ihren Gästen und Gesundheit.

   Wir hatten nur einen Tag gebucht und daraus wurden dann sieben erlebnisreiche Tage. Das lag auch an der sehr netten Betreuung und den vielen Anregungen von der Familie Groiss. Und so wurde unser Urlaub zu einen großen Erfolg. Eins steht fest: wenn wir wieder einmal nach Östereich fahren, dann noch einmal zur Familie Groiss.

   Liebe Familie Groiss,
   Ihre Ferienwohnung und Ihre Gastfreundschaft ist sehr empfehlenswert. Für Radtouristen die Nachmittags in Werfen eine Unterkunft suchen, die dabei von einem älteren Herrn angesprochen werden, können diesem vertrauen, wenn es Hr.Groiss ist. Wir Radler aber auch unsere Räder waren bei Ihnen bestens+sicher aufgehoben. Die ruhige Lage oberhalb des Ortskerns, die tolle Aussicht zur Burg, auf das Gebirge, die Gaststätte - alles war wie empfohlen.

   vielen dank für die nette Atmosphäre in Ihrem Haus während unserem Septemberurlaub. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Viel Spaß machten uns Ihre kleinen Annektoden während des Frühstücks. Wir werden im nächstem Jahr mal wieder vorbeischauen.

   wir wollen es nicht versäumen es allen zugänglich zu machen und preís zu geben, wie schön es bei euch im Haus Karin ist. Wir kommen nun schon so viele Jahre und sind mittlerweile süchtig nach Euch und Werfen samt Umgebung. Ihr seid wundervolle Menschen, und wir hoffen das wir nächstes Jahr wieder bei Euch sein dürfen.
