The vacation rental
The apartment is located in the oldest quarter of the wine village Obernhof, the ancient Arnstein monastery in sight. You will find yourself within half timbered houses several hundred years old. The view from the apartment goes far into the green and calm river valley, out on the hills of the Westerwald and Taunus low mountain range.

- unforgettable bicycle trips on the Lahn river valley biketrail, a trail that follows the river for some 250 km (bikes on board of train accepted!)
- canoe trips (canoe hire with pick up service in the village)
- outstanding fishing opportunities (from catfish to pike and even some trout)
- good swimming either in the river or in the nearby lake Herthasee, in a public pool (5km) or in the Bad Ems thermal pool - which actually is "Good" Ems: it is a spa.

Special characteristics
The apt. unfortunately is not suitable for the disabled due to its situation under the house's roof and due to the location of the sleeping area: it can only be reached via a steep ladder.

By plane either via Frankfurt Main or Frankfurt Hahn, then by train via Limburg resp. Koblenz to Obernhof.
